Mental Health First Aid Training for the Irish Australian community in NSW

  • Irish Support Agency 64 Devonshire Street Surry Hills, NSW, 2010 Australia (map)

Mental illnesses are common, with 1 in 5 Australian Adults experiencing a mental illness each year.

Just like physical first aid courses train members of the public to provide basic first aid to someone with a physical health condition, MHFA teaches skills to help someone experiencing a mental health problem.

The Irish Support Agency is pleased to offer this potentially life-saving training at a highly subsidised rate for members of the Irish Community in NSW.

Training will take place over two days from 9.30am to 5pm on

Saturday 2nd April 2022
Saturday 9th April 2022
As this is an accredited course it is essential that you only register if you are available to attend both dates in full.

Who can attend?

This training is for any adult supporting another adult. No previous training or experience is required. Due to funding requirements, this training is offered to members of the Irish Australian Community in NSW only.
