This resource aims to provide useful contact details for a range of health and wellbeing services across NSW. It can be used by an individual but there are also a range of services available to assist friends and family.

Helplines
If you, or a friend, require emergency assistance for a mental health issue you should present to your local Emergency Department or call 000 for an ambulance.
If it is not an emergency situation you can visit your GP who can make referrals to a psychologist, if deemed appropriate. If you have a Medicare card you may be able to receive a rebate for the cost of up to 10 counselling sessions when referred by a GP.
